Change is an interesting word and sometimes ambiguous during self-enquiry.
The change that can occur during therapy is fundamentally about finding yourself again.
It is not about changing the essence of who you are, but rather the debilitating patterns, behaviours or circumstances. Returning to your true nature, your authentic self sometimes requires readjusting the way we automatically and habitually live our lives. Making these readjustments enables us to be more aware of our actions, interactions, behaviours, and attitudes. Introducing the new and letting go of the old is not always easy. Making outward and inward change through a conscious ‘decision making process’ helps us to achieve integrity in our relationships with others and with ourselves.
There is no guarantee that this delicate journey called life in this mortal body will remain unscathed. All we can do is equip ourselves with inner tools and prepare for the ride.
